This year the festival is located just 1 hour and 40min from Madison at The BullPen in Hillsboro, WI. We have worked really hard to find a location that will allow us to have as much music as possible, and still offer the gorgeous scenery you have come to expect at PEOPLE FEST! With more than 30 of the Upper-Midwest’s best local and regional acts, and 330 acres of some of the most scenic rolling hills and forest in the state; we are sure to surpass all expectations! There will be food, drinks, bathrooms, showers!, shaded camping, biking/hiking trails, indoor air-conditioned 2nd stage, pancake/bloody-mary breakfast, art vendors/displays, hay-wagon shuttle, games, acoustic bonfire jams, good people, great vibes, and much, much more!!!

Our 4th annual People Fest is shaping up to be the best one yet by far, and we hope to see you all there!  Stay tuned for more details and announcements! And yes, there is a llama!

Going to People Fest this Summer??
Here are a few things to remember:

Be respectful! There are many families that attend and have come to expect a safe and happy environment! That includes little kids, and some Moms and Dads…including my own! Harmless fun is allowed at all times

Be safe! There’s nothing worse than people who drink all night and try to drive home. People Fest is an hour from anywhere and that is for a reason! Bring your tent and stay a while. P.S. Bring an ID. You’re gonna get carded.  Also, use common sense! It’s not a good idea to be walking around barefoot at a farm!!! (Rusty Nails and Tent stakes leave marks!!)

Don’t be a dick! This party has always been under the understanding that if you’re a dick, you’re out. Being drunk is one thing. Being a beligerant dumb-ass is another! If you can’t handle your whiskey, don’t bring it. Violence of any sort will not be tolerated. There are no second chances, and no refunds.

Carry-in beer is allowed in the campgrounds, but not in the concert bowl, where VERY low priced beverages will be provided by the BullPen Bar. You must be 21+ with ID to drink. 

Dogs are fine.  BUT….. if you know your dog does not play well with others, dont expect it to act any differently here, and please leave it in the care of someone else this weekend! Bring extra bags to clean up after your dog! Dog poo is very hazardous to the health of livestock on the farm!!

Fires are only allowed in designated fire pits(there will be several), and small personal grills. No fireworks.

Respect the Locals. These guys/girls are the reason the party can exist in this beautiful setting  in the first place! When you see these people, give ‘em a nod and remind them how cool their area is.  We represent Madison, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, etc. and we want everyone to know the truth about who we are!!!

Have fun!!! Bring your mountain bike! And say whats up to our resident llama! We’re glad to have you with us this year and hope to just keep this growing for years to come! We couldn’t do it without YOU- the fans, bands, and supporters of our collective music scene!!!!!!!!!
